When the material arrives it is screened, sorted and prepared to meet Institute of Scrap Recycling Industries (ISRI) guidelines. We take every precaution to preserve the environment, ensuring no toxic chemicals remain in recycled items.

We take every precaution to preserve the environment by making sure we take the chemicals out of the air conditioners, and much more. When the material arrives it is then screened by experienced personnel and sorted by metal, alloy, form and grade then prepared to exacting consumer specifications. Analysis is performed using visual, chemical, or other techniques to ensure that every load is as free as possible from contaminants or off-spec material as possible. A&A Midwest Recycling is a member of ISRI and follows all levels of compliance and more.
